Working Method and Machine Equipment

Working Method

  • The tube is fed manually into the machine.
  • For cutting the core is pushed against the stop plate.
  • Core rotation is actioned with a foot switch via friction belt underneath the cutting head.
  • The cutting action itself is released by pressing a button.
  • After cutting the stop plate retracts to permit easy discharge of cut pieces.
  • Short pieces fall directly into a collector.
  • Longer pieces remain lying on the tube support for manual removal.

The machine is equipped with

  • Lubrication of knife for polished cutting surface and cooling.
  • Lifting rollers to assist tube feeding.
  • Tube support with retracting, pneumatic stop, and scale 700mm long manually adjustable according the required cutting length.
  • Circular Knife 120 x 40 x 2 mm HSS
  • Toolset for one Tube-ID consisting of cutting disc and mandrel to take the tube.
  • Levelling elements for exact alignment of the machine.
