Working Method

The machine is equipped with

• Heavy duty machine frame in welded steel frame construction.
• Outside Bevelling Device for outward wedge-shaped grinding of paper web. The final seam closes perfectly to the tube. Grinding width up to 70mm. The noise level is drastically lowered by an acoustic enclosure (reduced from 94dba to 85 dbA).
• Jet Gluing Device for constant application of glue onto the paper web.
• Servodriven feedrolls for the paper web. The parent length of the core simply is programmed on the operating terminal. Smallest tolerances are achieved.
• Cutting Device with Cross Knives to cut the paper sheet corresponding to the tube length.
• Paper Sheet orientation to guarantee rectangular feeding of the paper sheet into the mandrel. Distance 2nd needle bar to middle of mandrel appr. 1.000 mm
• Sheet Transporter with double needle bar for save advance of paper sheet to the mandrel.
• Servodrive for winding mandrel. The number of revolutions of the winding spindle can be entered freely programmable at the control terminal, thus a fast adjustment is possible to the paper web width.
• Pneumatical adjustment of pressure bar. Individual manometers give exact information about the adjusted contact pressure of the pressure bar.
• Protective Covers with Saftey Switches. Covering all movable machine parts.
• Production Control via Photocell. The machine is stopped in case of malfunction.
• Winding mandrel chromium plated for one tube ID.
